Pancreas is a glandular organ situated behind the stomach. It is involved in glucose metabolism in body and secretes important digestive juices for digestion of food. This is less aggressive compared to adenocarcinomas. The symptoms of pancreatic cancer include pain in upper abdomen that radiates to the back, loss of appetite, weight loss, new onset diabetes, depression, blood clots and yellowing of skin and eyes. Pancreatic cancers can be treated by chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy of combination of these.
