Cervical surgeries are used to correct the diseases and injuries related to injuries of neck. Cervical surgeries or cervical spine surgery is performed electively to treat either nerve/spinal impingement or spinal instability. It is also used to correct any deformity in the vertebrae of neck region. Cervical injuries may be caused due to physical injuries like factures or diseases such as spondylitis, spinal disc herniation, meningitis, dislocation of cervical discs.
